If you have grease stains on the garage floor, here is one way to get rid of it. I use kitty litter to soak up the grease. This works because kitty litter has clay and this draws in moisture and causes any liquid to clump.
- Cover the spill with kitty litter.
- Add enough paint thinner to make the mixture wet.
- Cover this with a large enough plastic bag. This will keep this mixture from drying out and will prevent the solvent from evaporating.
- Keep it like this for 24 hours. After which, you can clean up the kitty litter. It will turn black from the oil it has soaked up. If the kitty litter has not changed its' color, repeat the whole procedure.
