To clean the outside parts of the toilet, I use disinfecting wipes. I start from the top and go down. The first part I clean is the toilet handle, then the tank, the seat and the last part is the base. If your toilet has some water marks, you can clean this up using a pumice stone. It will not scratch the porcelain and it really works. I prefer to use those disposable scrub pads to clean the toilet bowl. I find it easier and I don't have to deal with toilet brushes.
