I am starting to plan for our family trip next year. My parents will celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary next year in the Philippines and my family will be there, of course. Since a lot of our relatives here in the U.S. are planning to attend this special occasion, I've been doing a lot of research for plane fares and hotel rates. I've had a lot of experience with doing this since I planned and booked our family vacation to Europe last summer. We purchased travel insurance then and plan to do it again for next year's trip. Having a peace of mind is well worth it since this covers medical evacuation, lost baggage, canceled flights and even reimburses you if your airline goes bankrupt. It's going to be a blast and I might even see my friends like Lanie, Carlota and Amy. *wishful thinking*.
