Stores now have energy saving Christmas decorations on their shelves like string lights that use LEDs. LEDs use up only a fraction of energy compared to regular light bulbs. And here's the kicker, if one bulb burns out (which is highly unlikely since LEDs are known to last a loooong time) the rest of the lights stay lit. So if you're shopping for Christmas lights, choose one that has led light bulbs.
