The main reason why I don't like to use wallpapers in my house is the work you have to do to take it off the walls. I have a small border in our bedroom and I'm glad that I still like it even after seeing it everyday for 7 years.
In case you need to remove a wallpaper in your house, here is an easy tip that I saw while reading a magazine. If you use a fabric softener, this will make removing the wallpaper very easy. (I hope). Mix 1 quart of water and 1 cap of liquid softener. Apply this solution to the wallpaper with a sponge. Let this soak for about 20 minutes. Scrape the paper from the wall. For water-resistant wallpaper, you need to use a wire-bristle brush before putting on the fabric softener mixture.
