I do not like ironing. Doing it is really a chore for me unlike cooking or baking. I'm glad that dh is an engineer, therefore, he doesnot wear suits to work. Why should he, when he had to get into that white bunny suits you see at Intel commercials. Anyway, I only iron once a week and only because my kids' school uniforms need to be pressed. They have to wear uniforms because they go to a private school. I prefer this than no uniform at all, then there will be that daily struggle on what clothes to wear to school, especially for my daughter. I also have some shirts that needed to be ironed, one looks like one of those tuxedo shirts. I still have it easy compared to many years ago. I still remember while visiting my grandfather in the province where they used an iron where you put hot charcoal inside it. Uhuh, I saw those up close and personal. Have you?

As a quilter/sewer, I iron almost everyday when I'm not busy doing other things. I've come to accept it as part of my life. Not so bad.
