We have a Bichon Frise puppy and he is about 9 months old (in people years, of course). He doesn't eat a lot, just enough, I guess. When he had his last check-up, the vet didn't tell us to put him on a diet. So I am assuming that his weight is just right for his age. Is there a daily calorie requirement for dogs, just like the one for humans? We have his food bowl out and we only fill it in three times a day. Usually, he doesn't finish it all at once though. I just don't want him to be an over-weight dog and then I had to go to a website like www.AppetiteSuppressants.com to look for diet pills for dogs. haha Do they even sell those?
